Experience
I am a Spanish national from Madrid living in the US since November 2011. Spanish is my mother language and I'm also fluent in English, French and Italian. I have travelled throughout the world and lived in several countries. Since I've always loved languages, I studied a BA in Translation & Interpreting in Spanish, English and French and a Master in Conference Interpreting. After moving to the Lehigh Valley I've started tutoring Spanish & French to students of all ages and levels. I also have experience as a Spanish teacher at a private school teaching for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders. I have a passion for teaching languages but also the vibrant lifestyle and culture from my native country, Spain, as well as the culture of other Spanish-speaking countries. I am very flexible and student-focused, understanding individual student's needs, motivating and challenging them. My teaching approach covers all aspects of language: grammar, vocabulary, writing, reading, comprehension and conversation. From the first lesson you will enjoy learning the language and the culture, and enhancing your written and oral skills. I'm looking forward to helping you to become a fluent speaker in Spanish or French!
